By virtue of their 20-2 region record the Northern Essex Community College men's basketball team has earned the number one seed in the regional tournament for a third consecutive season. The eight team tournament will get underway on Wednesday February 26th with the top four seeds hosting quarterfinal games. The four winners will advance to the semi-finals to be played on Saturday March 1st on the Warwick campus of Community College of Rhode Island. The championship game is slated for Sunday March 2nd at 3:15pm at CCRI.

The tournament champion will recieve and automatic bid to the NJCAA National Tournament set to begin on March 12th in Herkimer, NY
